Yearning

I long for the warmth
Giving life to the trees
That line my journey
Forward each morning.
I long for the light
That gives life’s breath to
The flowers
That smell so sweet.
I long for the breeze
To flow through my hair
Winding like a soft caress
Invisible touch.
I long for the freedom
To walk up encumbered
Along forest paths
And past the streams.
I long for the green,
The flowers
Of the fragrant tea olive,
Yes, that intoxicating scent
That sets my senses free,
That special feeling of spring,
That more than anything.

  1. I see that and thank you so much, now I just have to try to figure how to do all of the linking stuff. I work off of an iPad which is not very user friendly. It will take me a little bit to figure it out and I am honored!!!,
