Lines on the sky
white stripes
no song intended
driving in my thoughts
crossing over one to another
can’t make up my mind
which lane to try
upward into
miles high
infinite streams
take me away.
Blue world umbrella
blocking the sun
the stingy miser of clouds
playing hide and seek
with my warmth,
search for sunshine
for on my shoulders I do get quite happy,
song intended
and the clock winds down
the meager minutes left in this day
open the universal wallet
and lend me some more,
more sun,
more moments to sit and be,
penny on the ground,
shining back at me,
How much will this get me I wonder?
Indeed it is and I hope you have a nice weekend. Hugs, Barbara
