Full moon fever

As she comes to me
Slipping silently up
Before my eyes
Naked in her glowing splendor
She whispers to me in my aching sleep
Come to me my sweet
And I shall hold you
In my luminous embrace
All the dreams will be
Brought to fruition.
The hounds grow restless
As she brings me forth
From the depths
Of silken sheets
And feathered covers
She sings to me
Her sweet song
Through sleep fogged eyes
I lift my arms to reach out
For her sweet caress
And awaken to find
Her cool crisp scent
On skin
And I am in a state of bliss,
I have become whole
In her light.

Words like rain

Slipping silently down each page
Words falling down
Like rain.
I wipe the thoughts from my mind
Ink watercolor dreams
For you.
Grey days as drops slide seamlessly across
The windows of the soul
Sentences alive.
Clouds obscured sunlight reaches through
Drying the indigo print
Pages wrinkled, smoothed.
Does it reach you through the storm
When the heart lies broken
Healing words to make whole?
If nothing were spoken in ancient texts
Would it matter what was never said
What was never brought forth?
Ah sweet rain wash clear the path
Leave the eyes refreshed
Cleansed.
So much more to say as typhoon wind
Blowing the pages too fast
To capture a memory too quickly lost.
If the rain had never fallen
And words just never spoken
Earth quiet, a lonely place to be.

Thoughts on what if we never wrote, if beautiful thoughts were never put down, what would this world be?

She sends me
Light to illuminate
The dark of night
On walls crumbling
With the decay of days
She sends me
The beauty of purity
Sights and the silence
Of a world of illusion.
She sends me shadows
To hide the darkness in,
A place to set aside
The things that are not
Created of life and goodness
A place to imprison
The sadness.
She sends me
The full moon glow
Grand and white
Filled with the hope
Of dreams in the night
Of images of pleasure
And of days filled
With all things delightful.
