Magic of life

Flying high

Feeling like each and every day

Touching the sky and stars above,

With each push that comes to shove

I’m stepping higher into the bliss.

There is magic in each moment,

This life we live completely

Being present in the second

Here and now

This breath I take as I smile

Through the grey rain that falls beyond the glass,

Not gonna let it get me down

‘Cause this time is ours for flying

Stepping lightly amongst the brightest stars,

Hanging on the moon beams

And feeling the simple joy

In the twinkling sound of laughter

Like champagne celebrations

And time spent in the company

Of family and friends,

Can’t think of any moment more special

Than these days we are moving through,

That we are running up on invisible stairs

Reaching so much higher,

Finding the shining lights

Of more dreams that continue to come true.

Today was the culmination of our efforts in bringing our dreams into reality. A sold sign on the house as of today and one step closer to home by the sea 1300 miles away from where we’ve always been. Letting go of things that we have no need to carry, and feeling lighter and bouncing off the stars so high above. Feeling so very blessed in this minute as I listen to the music station we found down at our new home. IHeart radio has left us today dancing, cooking and celebrating with friends later today. Truly, life is amazing. I think my smile could light a thousand homes. Thanks for joining me on my journey and I will be back soon full time, reading, commenting and living my passion of my WP blog. Woo Hoo! Peace, love and joy that knows no bounds, K

  1. The latter has been mentioned as a significant contribution. 🙂
Now if we think of the glacial periods, last, short one was in 1645. (Just looked it up, I didn’t know how to say Âge glaciaire in english.) 🙂

  4. Hurray for the hounds… It is cool here too. Lower forties this morning and endless Breton-like drizzle all day. Yuk. The more I live in Mexico the less I understand the calims about global warming. Not here it ain’t. Take good care of yourself.

  5. Yes, I know what you mean. My hands, especially the right one is swollen and hurts badly, so I’m trying to stay off the computer as much as possible and the inability to write depresses me the most. Hope it’ll be better soon. 🙂

  10. Haha! Remember the Ides of March were fatal to Caesar. It would have been good to get away from winter, but it’s only a couple of months. Meanwhile… be bad. (Good is too boring) 😉

  13. Why, is there wind in the mix? Hurricane shutters on, no fears, and a property manager too…I think we need it up here. Brutal swirling winds with ugh….snow….ugly, cold and merciless….counting down days till the move…..💜K

  15. Ooh, a hike sounds splendid. Raining cats and dogs here, will turn to snow later today and commence to blanket us in loveliness for the next week minimum. I’d trade for a hike in a heartbeat. Peace and love my friend, K

  16. Thank you my dear friend, yes, it seems we run so fast, we stumble up the stairs but it is always with a childish laughter because we are so very eager to get to the places we are going, but half the fun is in the getting there, tripping or otherwise. I see an email of a post from you in my box, I’m saving that for later today when I can relax and fall into what I’m sure will be amazing words…peace and love, K

  17. Congratulations, Kim! I know this has been brewing in the ethers for a while. I love the metaphor of running up the invisible stairs to a plateau of our dreams. Living can be such a strange tumble up the steps… I’m glad you’ve made your way to a moment of such fullness!

    Peace
    Michael
