Woven dreaming

I have lived forever

In pieces of light within an endless space,

Created like water colors blended

Pigment woven like a tapestry

Or a piece of heart

Hung below a settled light.

I have dreamt of visions

Truth and beauty and the hope of man,

Moved through chambers alone searching

For the answers that have never changed,

Like endless stars burning

Through the night of a life.

I have been borne of a quiet silence

Captured in an echo reverberating

Across mountain tops

I am here, I am here

And I am waiting for the awakening

Of a gentle sun at dawn,

It will reach and spread like honey

Warm and liquid like the movement

Of a perfect song.

I will awaken in these moments

Lucid and knowing

That all I seek is all I have thought

And a thousand more things that wait

Like dreams that come to hold

In their embrace of amazing views

Of places and faces not yet known,

Of a universe

I call home.

  2. Thanks John,
In one of those in touch with the universe moments below a snow filled sky in my car this morning, the beauty of it all astounds me some days.
