I think the culinary lavender is the smaller petalled variety. Plus who knows what these plants were sprayed with. I certainly wouldn’t eat it! I forgot you are in FL. Curtain filtered light should be fine for it.

My dad lived in Boyton Beach on the East Coast. I loved it there, miss it greatly. As for the wine, pour me a glass and I’ll join you, after all, it’ll be Sunday 🙂 Much warmth & happiness ❤

I’m on the gulf coast….nice ocean breezes most days….loving every moment of it, relaxing or not…but most of it is…relaxing☀️🌴peace and sun, Kim

Thanks Eliza,
This one was born in Canada, it said filtered light…I’m in Florida and it can get quite intense….I will do as you say…but it said not for consumption and the lady at the store said the woman before me uses it in potatoes with basil…are there different varieties? I figured it would be like my French blend of herbs that has lavender in it….the name escapes me but I know I will wake up at three in the morning and shout it out…that’s how my head works some days…ah, herbs de Provence….see, I’m still coherent….thanks Eliza, appreciate any help in keeping the little beauty alive.💜and purple is my fave color too….peace and love, K

Peace out Gurl😊 time to hit the hay I think…little Chi is staring at me…you know the look…did I tell you she voluntarily came into the pool today, walked down the steps and held her paw out…like, please mom, I wanna cool down and I trust you…oh how my heart melted….I held her and floated her around and she sat there in the water afterwards, looking like I drowned her or something, ears down and all sad like, but then she gave me a kiss and got towel dried…her fave….and then snuggled up by me like a newborn….ugh, I love my girls, they make me smile….hugs to J from my girls too💜🐕🐕

No problem there, we are painting the house, did I mention it’s 87 degrees out…my shoulders are crying…the pool helped but I shall sleep like a baby lamb…baaaaa….and enjoy it all…till the full moon wakes me at midnight…her custom, but I enjoy standing out in the silence embracing the beauty and inspiration….I’m kind of zen and nutty like that🙃💜love ya my friend, K🍀

The lady today at the store says the woman before me uses them in potatoes with basil….tag says not for consumption, hmmmm…hope she doesn’t get ill…I just smell mine and touch them, just like Rosemary…I could wear that at night and go to sleep, calm, happy and content…..hope you’re doing well my muse, any trips to the sea planned? Daughter must be ready to be sprung from school soon…hope life is treating you like the beautiful Queen you are…peace and mermaids, K💜🐬☀️🌴

They are cute little things, let’s see how long I can keep,it alive, perhaps the Word Press people should start a betting pool on how long it will take for its demise…I’m not good with plants….at all….we shall see, and thank you….Trader Joes lavender, grown in Canada, shipped to Florida and tag says not edible….hope the cat can read😊 she gnaws on everything at times…peace and love, K

Oh I hope not to kill it, the basil has lasted two months now…I’m on a roll I think….or perhaps it’s the nice Florida weather….perhaps Buffalo killed everything for the last 48 years of my life so I grew accustomed….change is happening…a good thing, thank you, peace and plants that live, K

Yeah….I kill things…not too proud to admit it….but plants are not my specialty…perhaps someday Richard….gardening was never my bag…just herb pots to cook with…but Thank You, I’m so glad you liked it….I was worried about swearing in the haiku…then I said screw it…let it fly…glad I did…my bad, K

For now I shall see how the little pot will do, if I plant it, the dogs will run it over or the cat will sleep in it. I love the Trader Joes herb deals….although this one says do not consume…after the clerk told me the woman before me says she uses it in mashed potatoes with basil too….well why isn’t it edible on the tag? Hmmmm….GMO ? God I hope not…in the meantime I put it outside to enjoy some nice humid Florida balmy full moon 🌕air😊💜

I’m telling the same thing to my flowers but they often don’t listen to me. 😉 It’s a cute haiku for a beautiful flower pot with lavender, dear Kim. I hope it’ll stay alive and fresh for a very long time, giving you the joy of scent and colour. 🙂

Nice!!! I have a little herb garden, really little because I just am not into gardening that much. But I have lavender. I only keep it because when I’m sitting outside in the summer the scent wafts up onto the deck, it’s so nice. And the bees love it. I wish I could find the honey, scented with lavender. Great Haiku. 🙂
