Tick-tocking timepiece
torments thoughts with speed
tomorrow tests the truth
running through the mind
to those who know the hands by name
tick-ticking like a time bomb
exploding as the seconds run out
too late to turn back
time to face the facts
as it waits for no one
eternally running
for ever round and round.
Day two of the ten day poetry challenge, a poem about a face using alliteration. It’s time I stepped up and get it done…here it is…enjoy. Tick tock….
It is a part time job but I am looking forward to it so much, handing out food samples to passers by, so many people to be able to talk to and just to get out in public and make people smile with a yummy (I hope) treat sounds like my cup of tea. Not a career job but at least something to do besides go a bit stir crazy π

Oh I feel your pain Kim. I was literally just telling my co-workers how social media tends to eat up all my writing time and I never find time to actually write (Dark Fey) anymore. Somewhere there is balance, …somewhere…
Best of luck, Peace and NO Stress in your training, Friend π

Running with tick-tock worked well… I could feel time surging forward.
