They linger in memories
Old days long gone yet still here
Gathering in my mind
Each day that passes by
Two entities breeds apart
Here always side by side
Enriched lives we lived
Remembering with love.
Our prompt today was today was to do an acrostic and my subject matter for friends was our dog Zip (why I’m known as Infinite Zip for you new comers) and his buddy Meep (aka Fat Squishy cat). Both our fur babies are no longer with us but I like to hope they are somewhere together, just hangin’ out and having a good time like the old days.
Haha. We’ll see… ❤

Indeed. We formally forbade our two daughters to bring yet another kitty to the house. Too much heartbreak when they go. 😦

No animals allowed where we are now. We might at the next place. Nothing like a feline to keep you company. 🙂

we still have one, a stray who found us 2 years ago, hubby enticed her with smoked salmon skin and she never left. She made the move with us to Florida from NY and now she loves it, sleeps in the lanai and basks in the sun, hunts snakes and lizards….so far no poisonous snakes thank god….I do pray for her but she doesn’t have to fear snow anymore ❤ perhaps you should get a cat?

They were the best, although the squishy cat would love you up and then bite hard….hubby didn’t care for that aspect but we would walk through the woods and the silly cat would follow us all the way ❤ I think that was my first acrostic. A fun device 🙂

Thanks JoAnna,
I always love when the fur babies become best friends, I miss them both but know they are together living a beautiful existence, waiting for us someday. Peace and blessings, K

How lovely. Friendship between cats and dogs takes a bit of work, but once they are friends, it’s forever. Sorry they’re gone. Our cat Miao Dzedong has just gone too. 😦

And I thought Indiana Jones was the only one named after a dog 😉 And yes, it is abut of a struggle to grasp life as something other than infinite.
