Silent

Shrouded in silence
he watches from slivers of space
often unseen,
bathed in the light
a thousand thoughts he seeks
to quiet the mind
and observe unhindered
peace in solitude.
Textures of life blanket
smooth and rough
the days bringing new views.
Words spoken in darkness,
candles light the path
as wisdom is gleaned,
understanding of being absolute
he watches
content.

My apologies for not being around much. The new job is going very well and I am finding a contentment with each day that passes. I hope to get some more catch up in tomorrow and thank you for sticking around. Peace and blessings, Kim

  9. Had a stormy day Monday but not as bad here as north (Seattle up to Bellingham) where we lived until a year ago. They had trees down, at least one person died, etc. Pretty bad. Thanks for asking about it Kim. We’re fine here. 💕

  16. Thanks Tre, going good so far and have my schedule out into Feb, pretty much five days a week….full time for sure. But man do my dogs ache at the end of day….ouch….still owe you a letter too. Off today, haircut and catchup😊💜

Ha, yes Mags of course😊 but in his case he peers at us outside from around the corner where we sit each night holding conversations for hours, discussing solutions to any issues that may arise, etc….and thus peace is found there too….a bit of an inside element poem fitting the hubs and my evenings by candlelight. And there’s always peace when we decide what’s for supper😃
