Shedding the skin of dreams ending,
peel back the softest blanket
and emerge into the calm of a new day
as light breaks into the thoughts
giving life to the awareness
of a morning emerging.
Memories of voices weave their way
like a beautiful basket of love created
and holding the thoughts in endless depths,
the bottomless favorites saved
and packed away into the boxes of the heart.
Breaking dawn finds my mind
swirling about delicately
and gathering my mood of lightness and joy,
I am ready to begin again
as this beautiful day finds me waiting,
with a serene smile
and a knowing that it’s all so good,
it’s gonna be amazing
just wait and see.
A beautiful day to all, woke feeling calm and refreshed and images of a big bright sun, like a sweet orange, peeling the outer edges to reveal a sweetness found ❤ ❤ ❤

Wow. I’d like to have a pinch of what you have, Kim! Maybe it helps that you’re in a milder climate. Still — My response to the beautiful day dawning is to stretch a bit, luxuriate in the warmth (of the bed!), and listen to whatever enters my mind–which would not be how much I’m loving getting out of this comfortable bed! 🙂 More power to you! It is an awesome place to work, good hearted girls and so far, very nice customers. thanks Jack, I always equate dreams almost to an undressing, peeling back the layers mindfully and exposing the meaning, etc….sometimes I get a bit stymied though 🙂 I have an active dream imagination 🙂

I am completely drawn into the first para – what a silky soft lovely beautiful way to wake up to a new day …and then continued to love and enjoy every single line. The slow motion capture of the unfolding of life into the new day – soothing and amazing!
