Filaments

We connect unexpectedly,
fissures threaded into one thought
weaving through the stratosphere,
invisible haven of a realm of peace
gathered tribe as one
bound on the path to a higher plane.

We seek the counterpart to ourselves,
isolation in a moment of release found
we are gathering the tools of wisdom
as we seek the answers to what lay within,
knowing the words of the mind
wait in tender bouquets of brilliance
colored with the music of a universe united.

Traveling the miles of space,
we play hopscotch with the stars above
beneath the lazy moon that lingers
lighting the way to our nova of dreams
we spread the laughter and joy like petals
watching them all fall down like rain,
and taste the drops of sweetness found
when like souls find one another,
into their being we gaze deeply
understanding we are all as one somewhere
in the cosmic kingdom of eternal happiness.

  3. A delightful ode to unity, Kim, and the playfulness we sometimes forget is essential to the character of our being…

  4. This has the kind of visionary spirit as the song ‘I’ll find my way home’ by Jon and Vangelis. It makes no sense at the same time as being sublimely true.

  7. Yes, off tomorrow so will reply,
Miss your fonted (typed) voice across the miles,
Hark, I hear a gentle bird,
    Visiting the South
    With goodness and peace,
I shall await the bird on the line
    With joy.

  9. Thanks for your kind words of welcome.

Good luck with the new job, of course that comes first. As for the writing, it is always good to take a little time away from it to avoid burnout. I find the more I blog, the less I take care of my own personal writing (novels).

    Have a good one.

  10. Full court press
    I must of missed
    That somewhere
    But that how it
    Goes now a days
    Good to see you
    You always weave
    Those words in life
    When they are some
    Times frayed
    With the greatest of mine
    To you Kim,there’s always
    A thought for you
    Briefly Yours

  11. thanks, and I am so very glad to see you back again if I hadn’t told you already. I’m not on here as much as I’d like due to the new job (full time) but I pop in and catch up when I can. Maybe it will make my writing better to have so many days between thoughts escaping onto the WP world 🙂
