Searching the fire

In the beginning,
we rise to touch the flaming sun
high beyond reach
we believe in the mastery
of the thoughts we hold as truth,
we strive to become one
with the mystery that is
this fragile life.
Searching the flames of need ,
we lift ourselves up
carefully balancing the want
with a desire to belong ,
through communion with the spirit
we dance in the light
captured in memory we hold fast,
seeing more flickers in the distance
we move forward to meet like minds
and together share in the absolute
of a knowing
love is all there ever will be.
Searching the fire
through glowing ash dying
we poke about and release
the paper dreams to flight,
we are as we become
our truest selves
whole,
as the prophecy was written.

  1. Yes, there have been many changes since your last post. LOL. WordPress is getting on the up and up and with that, comes glitches. I am certain you’ll find a way to do what you love and we’ll be right here. 🙂 Happy Sunday to all of you. Thank you.

  2. hey there, thanks so much, I’m realizing perhaps I can do both, write my story and blog also. I was so worried about draining resources (ie. time) away from the story but I seem to be close to wrapping it up, just a few more chapters to go and I MISS writing like this, I shall be like a rockstar and try to manage both, haha 🙂 happy to be back too, WP is doing strange things I see for me “liking” others, sometimes it takes, sometimes my gravatar is in the middle of the pack like I had already liked it at some point….strange, usually it pops up first as if I was the last one to like a post. As long as it registers, I’m happy. Peace and love and a blessed Sunday to you and the princess ❤

  3. This feels like a “just” sermon, one that is meant to connect with the masses in a solid, but loving way. I am so happy you are back at it and I am going to enjoy this for however long that I can.
