About

It is time for change, as a season will move from one in to another, so must we. The winds whisper if we chose to hear, shhh…quiet, can you hear it? Listen close and you will hear the sound. You will know it like a sad song that found its way through into your consciousness, through the silence and beneath a star filled sky you will know, for it shall touch you in your memory and nudge you forward, into the bliss of oblivion to follow your dream, to live the life you were meant to, and to write perhaps, as if it were the most important thing to do. I can hear it calling often and I always whisper back, I’m here.

My name is Kimberly Laettner and I am a writer of poetry and prose. Please feel free to look around, turn over a few rocks, look for some treasure and slide into the peace I hope you find here. Welcome to Peace, Love and Patchouli

I’ve been so busy it has taken me a few days to jump into the new followers section and check things out and I am often pleasantly surprised when it’s a real blog and not a sales or ad overload. The pleasure is mine Patrice and welcome to my world too 🙂 peace and love, Kim

  9. Dear Kim

I am so happy that you have survived cancer and are enjoying life♡ ♡.

We have been following each other’s blog for quite a while now. I want to thank you for that. As my blog grew I struggled to give as much in return as I was receiving.

Due to this, I am now moving my work to this newly created website:

    http://whitetreasures.weebly.com/

I am staying on WP without much content shared. Wish you all the best ♡ ♡.

    Love, Isabella

  21. This is just a short note to let you know that my entry for Day #2 of the Three Days, Three Quotes Challenge (https://rivrvlogr.wordpress.com/2015/11/24/day-two-of-the-three-days-three-quotes-challenge/) does not include your name as a nominee for the challenge, contrary to the specific rule to nominate three bloggers. 😉
Instead, I’ve pointed readers in the direction of three of my favorite poets here at WordPress. Needless to say, you are one of them.

I suppose it’s the same story for most writers – family and friends view writing as a “hobby” , not a “real job.” I now realize how much talent is being wasted and how much poorer the world is because of that societal attitude. I totally agree, writing, or whatever form of creativity you pursue, is just living.

Mine has a left and right arrow on the left a sort of C with an arrow, that is the ‘refresh button then a house ; that’s ‘home’ where you are. The https:// line with info about where you are. In my line (yours may be different) all the way to the right is a star. Click on it – that will create your favorites lists – you can have more than one. Someone at a computer store or your nearest ten year old (ha they are so smart these days) might be able to also help you out. Or even someone the library. Well a modern library with computers anyway. Good luck.

Thank you… I really appreciate that as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.

My aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at basic photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations on life as I see it, thrown in for good measure.

My promise to you is not to be overbearing, just a couple of posts a day, maybe 3 at weekends if I have something special to share. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process.

Thanks again and hope you have a great day…

    Bear on, creative soldier.

And thank you for visiting my website of ramblings as well. All eyes and voices are greatly appreciated.
