He who has a friend

The music fills the air
Lacking words of a warm soul
To keep company
His mind moves to worlds
Make believe friend
To keep company
He misses me
Yet not so much
With his Pal to sit
Silently
By his side.

One of my favorite movies of all time is Castaway with Tom Hanks. I remember how the tears welled up as Wilson floated away because as a young girl I didn’t have many friends and losing one always set up the pain of adolescence that seemed so intolerable. As changes happened and as life progresses, we lose those we call friends to circumstances beyond our control. Well, the world can sometimes just feel like a lonely place. When my husband went away to visit our new house, he found himself sitting out each night with music to keep him company and this pail as a table for lack of furniture. He had to make do with what surrounded him. This is his Pail now known fondly as his Pal. This image still makes me smile and to realize with humor and imagination, we are never truly alone and that something so silly and simple can warm a heart across miles. When I just went down to visit I had the joy of company with Mom by my side and even though we had Pal around, I don’t think it was quite the same.

Ecstasy unfolds
image
I hear Your voice,
Sweet, Alluring, Delicious;
And My body quivers,
a Willow in November wind;
I have no choice.

I hear You breathe,
Hushed and Rhythmic, Unconscious Seduction;
And My lips tremble,
betraying the Sweet Obsession
that lies underneath.

I feel Your Guile
Measured, Purposeful, Deliberate Plea;
And My eyes close,
Pulse Races and Reticence Scatters;
I see You Smile
As Ecstasy Unfolds.

Beguiled
image
Eyes that smolder, drawing you in
the teasing smile like a sensual sin
she gazes through, lights your soul on fire
as your thoughts burn like a funeral pyre,
her skin so smooth, so silky light
and you want it so much, this lovely delight.
Her words capture you, a sweet southern drawl
on hands and knees you’d surely crawl
to touch this maidens soft pale skin
your fingers run down as you begin
to trace her back like a delicate dance
lost in the moment of this romance.
Beguiling words to quench your thirst
for lust and life she will come first
to weave her magic on a poor souls heart
you never want to be swept apart
this wild hearted woman with a wanton need
will claim your soul, on this she’ll feed
and take you to the dream you crave
for her you’d be her beckoned slave.
She is the master of such desire
a sultry mistress you’ll never tire
as she leads you to her chamber door,
Oh God, you think…I must have more.

Clandestine
image
Awake amidst the Morning’s shimmer,
Glimmer Smiling upon your Skin,
Begin the day with Love Beguiling,
Smiling to know the quandary we’re in!
Beyond the Whispers, Silent as Prose,
Rose Red Morning lifts her Gaze,
Haze of Fire Softly Singing,
Bringing Mischief to these weary Days!
Oh My Love, Before you Leave me,
Be my All one Moment More,
Implore from me my Heart’s Desire,
Fire Kissing a Boundless Shore!
Clandestine Love, Immortal Treasure,
Amidst stolen Moments of Exquisite Pleasure!

Deliberate
Deliberate Plea
You come to me
Deliberate and gentle
In my weakest moment
You gather me close
Skin touching skin
Please, let us begin.
Passion fills the air around
Touch me now,
Don’t let me down
I am filled
My cup overflowing
You are all I desire,
With you my soul is on fire
As we are love-inspiring
Take me now,
One more time.

Death by cheese….but it’s so good.

Fly to the land of cheese
As far as the eye can see,
Fields of grass for cows
To make me the gift of Brie.
A dinner menu pursued
With an eye for something new,
Nope here I go
So like me,
Pizza once again.
Some to go
Hotel room cool
No fridge as I can see
Breakfast comes at four am
Cold pizza it will be.
Off to work
Supplier site, now time for lunch
What do I see?
Pizza.
Now I never complain
About my favorite dish
Had some curd and beer cheese soup too.
But I go home wondering
What tomorrow will bring,
Ok, let’s skip the pizza this time please.
My husbands jaw will fall in shock
I see his image in my mind,
So love if you read this,
Disregard,
I like pizza all the time,
But a nice shrimp or steak would be nice too.
