Moving into empty spaces
the cavity deepened
by weight given grace
hollowed thoughts poured like water
drop by drop
into the chasm.
Red skies delight the coming storm
of peace and solitude
of a morning born,
words spin in essence gathering steam
falling forward in paper form,
as eyes reach up to waking zone
fresh ideas swirl
like a summer breeze.
Friend of forever
the idle voice moves through
reaching in to the void,
like coming home to gaze at sweet eyes
happy to be back
Good morning friends, been busy with the book thing and work schedule heavier than anticipated, all is good and book sales going well. I’ve started a new novel and loving the process as I learn new tricks. Peace and blessings, Kim
Slipping through the grains of moments
the seconds stripped of times demand,
we move through thoughts that carry knowledge
in the channel of movement
we watch and remember.
Selections of memory rise on water
and bob on waves of dreams of now,
floating deaf we hear the heartbeat
as peace gathers us close
we drown on bliss.
Chained by the hours we pull with might
to escape in the time where stars do play,
and standing below we watch and wonder
where the road or next chapter lay
as we gather words and form the stories,
tales we tell to see us through.
Unfolding forms of a minds creation
page by page we lose ourselves
in blanket forts with flashlights watch
the black and white force
of a memory unleashed.
Poetic thoughts running amok, good morning my friends and have a peaceful and blessed day. K
We travel the distance,
catching the tail of the wind
that spirals through the wilderness
on our way through unchartered lands,
we find ourselves as the journey unfolds,
and so much more than we ever thought
follows us through to new days waiting,
We become whole and complete.
Good morning my friends.
I’ve recently been quite MIA from the poetry world
as I pursued the act of writing a full fiction novel.
What a whirlwind experience it has been,
and I am proud and happy as the dream has been fulfilled.
On Sunday, my work of fiction ”Tales From The Thrift” was released on Amazon. it clocks in at 293 pages and it’s a story that pretty much like my poetry, wrote itself.
It was a labor of love that began in March and I’m already letting the wheels turn on the sequel. Thank you for being patient as I dipped my toes in the water with the publishing world. I see many more books in my future, what a thrill and experience that allowed growth to this poets mind.
