Distant vision
Color burst in green forest
Like a hundred orange butterflies
Congregating on one branch,
Tangerine party
Like a foreign team visiting
They signal days coming and
Changes filled with beauty.
Sun breaks through
Illuminating the shades
Standing out front
The actor on stage,
Taking a bow before retreating
To the ground below
One by one falling,
Kaleidoscope shades
Carpet of fall.

I love the colors, detest the snow of winter and I do like fall, just know what is next around the corner…there’s still Florida at retirement though as an option:) thanks Sue π

Fabulous, Kim.:) Pic is stunning also.:) What a contrast between green and orange. And I love tangerines & kaleidoscopes, I’m so happy you put them in the poem.;)
