Your words spin through my soul
Wrapped in ribbons of green
You move through my universe
Silk threaded skies on high
Emerald beauty
Cascading atmosphere of gems.
My colored days found
Ends of rainbows caught like drops of diamonds
Slipping down the screen of sleep
And far away the night calls to remember
The beauty often caught and then forgotten
With the break of each dawn,
As sun rises over the faithful
We say a prayer for simple moments,
Of amazing memories,
Of colors united in life
Wrapped like a sweet gift
Round the universe
All touched with the beauty
This life shining on.

And to you too. I don’t celebrate it except for perhaps a pint of Guinness if I’m a good girl. I’m of German ancestry so if it were sauerkraut, I’d be all over it😊 happy St pats my friend☘🍀😊

Now I like that idea best. I may have a glass of wine, but definitely not colored green. 😊🍀☘

What a beautiful poem for St. Patrick’s day! 🙂
My 5 year old asked yesterday: “What do people do on St. Patrick’s day?”. “They drink beer,” I said. “Oh….” he says all disappointed, “I think they should chocolate instead.”. 🙂
