I move them aside as I move forward
stepping stones before me in my mind
feeling so very far to go
I close my eyes and for a moment
disappear
and I am there.
Moving mountains that stand before
like monoliths with crossed arms
saying you cannot go here
you will never get past
yet through shades of beautiful blue
I drift high above you
and lifting off
fly free to the sky
if only in my mind
for just a moment
I know this will be truth
for I am strong and sturdy
and can carry the weight of thousand dreams
as I journey forward
though tired I amble on,
knowing the journey
each day has just begun.
thanks Robbie, I’m not on Twitter, one of those “never got time to figure it out” things, but i thank you of course, love your figures of sweet confections, esp. the cute cow 🙂

Yes, indeed. When we fly over the mountains, they don’t seem so big after all. Peace and love to you too. ♥♥💙💖

they always seem so formidable when I see them, especially up close and personal but then things we think are so overwhelming seem the same way….closed and angry in a way….we find our ways to get over it all one way or another 🙂 peace and love Magarisa, Kim

It happens when you haven’t worked in a long time
And it’s the holidays
I got your back
To much has been happening here
Couches,dryer,hearted, oil
It’s life and it’s crazy around here
I will try to mail you later

Thank you so very much Roland, there are no mountains here where I live now yet sometimes things that pile up before you feel like mountains….sometimes to close your eyes, you find another way over the hurdles😊💕

Thank you Lady G, I needed to write it out to see myself in it, and it worked….calmed the anxiety and the feeling of too much to do,,not enough time….push the mountains aside and if not, fly above😊💕

Hi JoAnna, I’m happy the words touched you and that it inspires, been falling a bit behind lately and oft times feel like there’s a mountain before me…..taking it a little at a time….when all else fails, close your eyes and fly above it all. Sometimes the view is better from above😊💕

I love this, too! Especially: I am strong and sturdy and can carry the weight of thousand dreams. And the flying above part. One step at a time, the steps add up, and one day, we turn around and see how far we’ve come and how much we’ve grown.
